The Saucony Peregrine is an awesome trail shoe. It is low to the ground (with just a 4mm offset) and feels extremely lightweight....almost like a shoe designed for trail racing. I would recommend it also as a light hiker and it is ideal for the summer months. It fits a little wider than some shoes, but the gilly lacing system provides a secure fit.
