WALKING SHOE V RUNNING SHOE
Posted by on
Why a running shoe? One of the most common in store shoe fits we do is putting people into a running shoe rather than a walking shoe. With the current trend in making shoes more minimal or in other words reducing the weight , dropping the heel, however you would like to describe minimal , the bottom line is you will always get a better fit in a running shoes. In fact companies like Saucony and New Balance have taken their better selling runners and made them into black and or white leather versions. You see, that is what can define a walking shoe its look or aestethic, a duty look, the nurse or the mailman, the waiter or the angry bus driver can relate. If you fall into none of those categories, or in other words have no limitations by style , go with a running shoe. You can then relate the shoe type to the foot type , get more cushioning , more support and an overall better fittng shoe, because of the biomechanical similarities.
